Company Overview:

We seek a talented and creative Senior Social Media Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the ideation, design, and implementation of our social media strategy to build the brand, engage with our community, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trends Spotting:Research and compile social media trends, best practices from competitors, and innovative executions to propose new content ideas to the Halo team.
• Storyboarding:Create storyboards, shot lists, and pre-production materials for site content and social-first content.
• Content Creation:Collaborate with the Head of Social to develop engaging content that resonates on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn.
• Social Media Branding:Define and design branded style templates for new and existing social content, including Snapchat Spotlight and Instagram stories.
• Creativity:Drive innovative, outside-the-box ideas, curating trends and creating thumb-stopping content that encourages audience engagement and sharing.
• Collaboration:Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
• Video Editing (Big Plus):Capture and edit original video content, participating in all phases of video production, including filming, editing, color correction, and sound design.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in creative content creation and graphic design.
• Social Media Expertise:A strong background in designing for social media is a must.
• Proven Track Record:Demonstrated creative accomplishments, ideally including award-winning work and a deep understanding of the Gulf MENA markets.
• Design Tools Proficiency:Wizard-level skills in design tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and Figma.
• Content Skills:Strong photography, videography, editing, and creative content skills.
• Communication:Excellent communication skills with the ability to take creative direction and bring ideas to life.
• Independence and Grit:Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Technical Understanding:Strong knowledge of frame composition, including lighting, angles, negative space, and photo clarity.
• Understands studio tools such as ring lights, tripods, props, backdrops, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
