Job Description
The Secretaries of the Shariah Committee tasks:
- Preparing and organizing meetings for the Shariah
Committee.
- Sharing the agenda items to be discussed during the
meeting with members of the Internal Shariah Committee
- Preparing meeting minutes and drafting them to the
Internal Shariah Committee meeting.
- Communicating decisions to all departments of Amlak
Company and its management.
- Organizing, numbering, and preserving fatwas (religious
rulings) and decisions, as well as monitoring administrative matters related to
the Internal Shariah Supervisory Committee.
Internal Shariah Consultations:
Providing consultations based on the “fatwa” and decisions
of the Internal Sharia Committee regarding the following:
- Contracts, documents, and other aspects related to Amlak's
financial products and services, including the product manual and internal
policies and procedures.
- Respond to inquiries and Sharia issues of Amlak within 3
working days in case of previous Sharia decisions, In the absence of previous
decisions, the Sharia Committee shall be referred to express an opinion
thereon.
- Responsible for the Promotional and advertising materials
and publications.
- Respond to Customer complaints (related to compliance with
Islamic law).
- Solve Other Shariah issues faced by AMLAK, especially
those related to structuring and products.
- Review contracts from a Sharia point of view in accordance
with the decisions issued by the Financial Regulatory Authority and the
recommendations of the Sharia Supervisory Committee. Any new contract or
products must be present to the Sharia Committee for the final approval/
feedback.
Research and development function:
- Conduct research related to relevant Sharia and procedural
issues requested by the Internal Sharia Supervisory Committee.
- Collaborate with other relevant departments of Amlak
Finance Egypt in product development and policy formulation Procedures,
contracts and other areas of development in Amlak.
Sharia audit function:
- Prepare
the annual Sharia Audit plan and presenting it to the Internal Sharia committee
for approval in coordination with the management.
- Evaluate
the company's business and activities to ensure its compliance with Islamic
Sharia.
- Evaluate
the effectiveness of internal Sharia control and ensure the company's
compliance with Islamic Sharia.
- Ensure
that products, services, forms, contracts, agreements, procedures for the
implementation of activities and operations and other Pending matters are
approved by the Sharia Supervisory Committee.
- Prepare a
periodic report to be submitted to the Sharia Committee on the outputs of the
internal Sharia audit.
Requirements- Bachelor of Sharia with law
background.
- 2-4 years of experience inin banking or financing sector.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Deep knowledge of a company products
or services.
- Clear understanding of sharia
principles
