Your Role – International, Challenging, and Future-Oriented


We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Service Senior Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales skills to support the sales process of our portfolio (products/services). You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, demonstrate the value of our solutions, and address any technical concerns.


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Sales Delivery: In collaboration with the Service Sales Manager & top management implement Service sales strategy. Penetrate Installed Base, promote various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions to the benefit of the customer.
  • New Opportunities: Generate Service sales lead and develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios.
  • Customer Approach: Establish long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote SIEMENS Service Portfolio.
  • Target Delivery: Meet or exceed yearly sales targets . Proactively prepare monthly sales forecast and sales planning. Produce the required documentation and support material required. Provide all inputs needed to prepare tenders.
  • Sales Process: You sell the service product portfolio, prepare sales proposals and tenders, prepare service offerings, communicate contract details, and manage the administrative sales process.
  • Marketing: You act as a marketer and salesperson during marketing activities, translating customer needs into relevant service offerings and solutions.
  • Health, Safety, and Integrity: You contribute to risk assessments, ensure technical reliability, safety, and cost-effective solutions, and comply with health and safety directives.
  • Understand customer needs and align product offerings with their requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct site & customer visits and prepare site visit reports.

Qualifications & Skills – Digital and Solid


  • Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical Engineering;
  • 5+ years of service sales experience.
  • with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Proven experience and exposure to industries such as O&G, chemical, metals and mining.
  • Proven experience in presenting technical products and services to customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify customer needs and propose solutions.
  • Experience in a Technical Sales role will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication & presentation skills.
  • Proactivity and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent ability to work in a team.

Preferred (Not Mandatory, But a Plus):


Candidates with experience in the following areas will be given extra consideration:


  • Knowledge of the industry and customer preferences.
  • Familiarity sales management tools.
  • Experience creating technical content, such as technical presentations /documents.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
