JOB PURPOSE
- Sales Manager – East Africa is responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing customer relationships across the East African region. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and collaboration with local distributors, partners, and key clients to expand market share and achieve sales targets
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in East Africa.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
- Generate leads and convert them into long-term customers
Market Research & Strategy:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in East African countries.
- Develop promotional campaigns tailored to each market.
Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, business partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with customers.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
Scheduling all relevant meetings starting from the tendering stage ( for any technical or commercial queries to do our best for securing / awarding the job to FPI (SALES) and other meetings (after awarding) to discuss the project requirements, progress, financial settlement, outstanding disputes,…etc ) to insure the customer satisfaction with regard of mitigate /eliminate any impact on the company ( PROEJCTS )
Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Prepare the commercial and Technical Proposal in line with the client requirements.
- Be fully aware of the contract conditions which identify the company‘s and customer‘s obligations and rights under the contract ; And Co-ordinates between all the dept., to complete the assigned tasks in a single point contact system between the company and the client
CRM:
Maintain CRM updated with relevant opportunities and quotes.
