Senior Quality Auditor

Job Summary
The Senior Quality Auditor is a senior member of the corporate Quality team . He supports the development and enforcement of corporate quality policies, procedures, tools and templates across K&A in coordination with regional and local quality teams. He participates in setting quality certification targets across K&A's offices and jointly works with regional and local teams for the development and implementation of action plans to achieve these certification targets. The jobholder develops quality audit plans across the organization, and tracks the execution of quality audits across K&A offices as per the audit plans to ensure the corporate-wide compliance with quality policies, procedures, tools and templates. He conducts QA activities on design deliverables prepared in the Lebanon design center to ensure the adherence of engineering design works to the organization's quality standards. The jobholder supports the delivery of quality training and awareness sessions across the organization in coordination with regional teams to promote an overarching quality culture.
Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of corporate quality policies and procedures and provide guidelines for quality procedures in design Departments, Regions and Geographies
• Maintain the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) and investigate and recommend changes to the QMS, as needed
• Support the Director / Senior Manager - Quality with the definition of quality certification targets (e.g. ISO 9001) for all K&A offices
• Develop action plans for the implementation of quality certification targets across K&A offices, in coordination with regional / local Quality Units
• Conduct quality assurance activities on design deliverables developed in the Lebanon design center and check compliance of design deliverables to K&A's quality policies, procedures and standards
• Develop the annual quality audit program across K&A Regions and Geographies, in coordination with the Director / Senior Manager - Quality
• Develop audit standards, checklists, standard audit findings reports and corrective action report templates to be consistently used by Quality Auditors across K&A Regions
• Participate in executing periodic quality audits in the headquarter and the Levant & Qatar Region to check the compliance of K&A departments with quality policies and procedures, including the distribution of audit requirements lists, circulation of audit schedules to relevant stakeholders and the execution of quality audits on offices, design Departments and supervision sites
• Identify quality non-conformance issues, summarize findings in periodic quality audit reports and recommend corrective action plans and reports for addressing identified quality non-conformances in the headquarter and Levant & Qatar Region
• Support Quality Auditors with the review and consolidation of quality audit finding reports from regional Quality Units into a consolidated K&A quality audit findings report
• Prepare periodic quality performance report, highlighting key quality issues across the organization and recommending corporate quality initiatives to address non-conformance patterns across K&A
• Support the development and maintenance of a corporate database of quality audits and findings in coordination with regional and local Quality Units
• Implement corporate policies and procedures

Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• ISO 9001 Foundation / Internal Auditor
• Knowledge of Quality certification, compliance requirements and audit programs
• Understanding of local quality regulations in the Middle East is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a variety of stakeholders, including senior management
• Proficiency in spoken and written English& Arabic languages

Specific Experience Required to Execute this Role

• 15+ years of experience in a quality management function
• Experience with development and enforcement of quality policies, procedures and tools across large organizations is preferred
• Experience with executing quality audits at large organizations
• Experience with delivering quality training programs at large organizations
• Experience with quality assurance and quality control activities on engineering design deliverables is preferred
