Senior Python Developer | Solution Architect | Remotely

Our client is a well-known e-learning solutions company, specializing in distribution and publishing, established in 2015. They predominantly supply books and library resources to schools, universities, and institutions across the GCC.

Their commitment extends to the Middle East and North Africa region, where they aim to enhance education.

Senior Python Developer: He will play a pivotal role as a Python Developer in a fast-paced growing company, with a heavy focus on Research and Development. Both full-time and freelance employment set-ups are being considered for this role.

Location:Remotely ( Headquarter in Dubai, UAE)

1. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in development projects.
2. Apply creativity and a research and development mindset to contribute innovative solutions.
3. Write server-side web application logic using Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
4. Develop and implement RESTful services using Django REST Framework.
5. Possess working knowledge of Flask, with a keen interest in expanding expertise.
6. Design components and end-to-end systems whenever required.
7. Write templates using template language.
8. Write style sheets for proper alignment, positioning, and beautification of web pages.
9. Take ownership of technology stack choices, providing well-justified decisions for complex business needs.
10. Utilize expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to enhance user interfaces.
11. Familiarity with deploying applications in cloud services, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform's Standard App Engine.
12. Collaborate with other team members (e.g., front-end developers, designers, data scientists) to integrate their work into Python-based applications.
13. Deploy the application on a cloud server if the needs arise.

We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Python, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Django, REST framework, Good Problem Solving skills.
• Proven experience as a Web/Application Developer and coding with analytical programming using Python, Django, and Flask.
• Proficient in application servers like GUNICORN, Web Servers like Apache server, NGINX, and Integrated Development Environments like PyCharm, Eclipse, MyEclipse, sublimeText3, and Atom.
• Proficient in SQL databases MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and no-SQL databases MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Experience in Agile Methodologies, Scrum stories, and sprints experience in a Python-based environment, along with data analytics, data wrangling, and Excel data extracts, SCORM.
• Experience in the Research & Development industry.
• Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence algorithms, Data Structures, and Algorithms are desired.
• Excellent debugging skills, good communication, great team player, motivated to work in a fast-paced start-up organization. Creativity and ability to learn quickly.
