Raya Foods; one of Raya’s subsidiaries, is hiring a Senior Projects Engineer.
What will you do:
Project Planning and Execution: Assist in managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, and procurement) to ensure smooth project execution.
Equipment and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements in production lines. Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment. Ensure all equipment and systems comply with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).
Infrastructure Upgrades: Plan and execute infrastructure upgrade projects, including utilities, facilities, and production floor layouts. Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement or modernization. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure upgrades are completed on time and within budget.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production equipment and systems. Assist in evaluating and recommending new technologies, equipment, and processes to enhance productivity and quality. Participate in feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards. Promote a culture of safety and ensure all project activities comply with company safety policies.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare project reports, including progress updates, cost analysis, and post-project evaluations. Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, designs, and specifications.
Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Communicate project status and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar). Knowledge of food production processes, automation, and machinery. Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
Education
B.Sc. degree in Engineering or a related field.
