Raya Foods; one of Raya’s subsidiaries, is hiring a Senior Projects Engineer.
What will you do:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Assist in managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, and procurement) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Equipment and Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements in production lines.
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Ensure all equipment and systems comply with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).
- Infrastructure Upgrades:
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrade projects, including utilities, facilities, and production floor layouts.
- Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement or modernization.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure upgrades are completed on time and within budget.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production equipment and systems.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending new technologies, equipment, and processes to enhance productivity and quality.
- Participate in feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all projects adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure all project activities comply with company safety policies.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare project reports, including progress updates, cost analysis, and post-project evaluations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, designs, and specifications.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Communicate project status and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
