Raya Foods; one of Raya’s subsidiaries, is hiring a Senior Projects Engineer.

What will you do:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Assist in managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, and procurement) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Equipment and Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements in production lines.
  • Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment and systems comply with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).
  • Infrastructure Upgrades:
  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrade projects, including utilities, facilities, and production floor layouts.
  • Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement or modernization.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure upgrades are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production equipment and systems.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending new technologies, equipment, and processes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Participate in feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all projects adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure all project activities comply with company safety policies.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare project reports, including progress updates, cost analysis, and post-project evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, designs, and specifications.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Communicate project status and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
