The Operations leader is an
exciting leadership position reporting to the META General Manager as well as
working closely with all support functions leaders to managing all activities
related to the daily operations of the Project P&L through effective
leadership direction and motivation of all the team.
Join a team of development
program professionals to manage dev programs with one of Honeywell's
businesses. You will work under minimal supervision, accountable to execute
development programs of moderate size to achieve scope, schedule, cost,
delivery, and quality requirements while demonstrating proficient-level program
management skills in this leadership position. You will manage and lead
development programs that may span several major domestic and worldwide
locations, requiring coordination of technology development and production
across locations. You must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge & drive
on-time execution of the Honeywell behaviors, and leadership skills to lead a
P&L for a sub region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a
yearly business plan that includes programs for improving the profitability of
the company.
• Maximize division
profitability by implementing programs that optimize service and inventory
management efficiency.
• Remain up to date with
market conditions, changes in products, changes in price levels, terms,
discounts, allowances, promotions and changes with suppliers. Adapts strategy
to changing conditions
• Develop, maintain, and
enhance a close working relationship between the company and our suppliers.
• Develop and implement cost
saving measures.
• Review projects, assist
project and sales managers with account and finance person analysis and direct
the resolution of all operational issues.
• Coordinate with Functions
(including Sales, Sourcing & Procurement, Finance, Controllership,
Contract)
• Facilitate forecast
analysis and maintaining high say/do
• Mentor members of team, to
maintain a highly efficient organization
• Summarize key issues &
actions
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• 10 years’ experience and
expertise within technical or business field
• Master’s degree in
engineering or business
• Previously led a team as
Operations leader or P&L Leader
