We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve our enterprise inventory management systems, ensuring M-KOPA can efficiently manage and scale our operations across Africa while maintaining operational excellence.



This role offers the opportunity to drive significant organizational value through the implementation and iteration of enterprise-grade inventory systems that support M-KOPA's mission of digital and financial inclusion. You'll work with talented cross-functional teams including engineers, finance professionals, warehouse operations managers, and business stakeholders across multiple countries to deliver solutions that scale with our rapid growth.



This position sits within our Acquisition Sales product group and is responsible for our enterprise inventory management systems and processes. You'll own our Microsoft Dynamics implementation while ensuring seamless integration with our other operational systems and maintaining business continuity as we scale.

In this role, you would be responsible for:



Owning the strategic direction and evolution of M-KOPA's inventory management systems
Defining and implementing inventory control processes that deliver operational efficiency with accurate reporting and regulatory compliance
Driving continuous improvement in our warehouse, supply chain, refurbishment and second life device capabilities
Partnering with operational teams to maintain standard operating procedures for inventory management across all channels
Working closely with finance teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting
Owning complex feature areas including serial number tracking, reverse logistics, and repair management
Leading system enhancement and optimization initiatives across multiple markets
Driving change management initiatives in partnership with operational counterparts to ensure successful adoption of new capabilities

Your application should have evidence of/experience with:



5+ years of product management experience with enterprise inventory management systems
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or similar enterprise inventory systems
Track record of successfully scaling inventory management solutions
Experience managing inventory systems across multiple locations and channels
Strong understanding of financial compliance requirements related to inventory management
Experience with complex stock movement workflows
Experience managing reverse logistics and repair tracking systems
Proven ability to work with distributed teams across multiple countries
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership
This is a fully remote role, that would have expectations of travelling across our different markets and working within the following time zone (UTC -1 / UTC+3).

We are particularly interested in someone with experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems and evidence of successful delivery of inventory management solutions while working in cross-functional team leadership.



Previous experience in financial services or fintech companies in emerging markets and experience with warehouse management systems and/or manufacturing execution systems is a plus.
