You will be responsible for documenting processes, setting up operational structures, extracting and analyzing data to provide actionable insights, and driving data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have solid operational awarness, strong analytical skills, experience in data analysis tools, and the ability to learn and utilize business intelligence platforms. What you'll do
1- Process Documentation and Improvement: Document and standardize operational processes across various departments. Identify process inefficiencies and areas for improvement; develop and implement solutions to optimize workflows. Create detailed process maps, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
2- Operational Structures Development: Assist in designing and setting up robust operational structures to support business scalability and growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product, Growth) to align on operational goals and strategies. Develop KPIs and metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operations.
3- Data Extraction and Analysis: Extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources (databases, Excel, CRM systems, etc.) to create comprehensive datasets for analysis. Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions. Present data findings in a clear and concise manner, using charts, graphs, and dashboards.
4- Actionable Insights and Reporting:Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.Work closely with the management team to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and strategic initiatives.Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required to support specific business needs or projects.
5- Business Intelligence and Tools Utilization:Learn and become proficient in using data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Superset, Tableau, and SQL-based query tools. Build and maintain interactive dashboards to support real-time decision-making. Train and support team members in using BI tools and interpreting data insights.
6- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure data-driven decisions are integrated into product development and go-to-market strategies. Act as a bridge between operations and different teams to automate processes and integrate data systems.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in operations analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a related role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment or in the automotive/marketplace industry is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation techniques.
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Superset, Power BI, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to write and modify queries to extract data from relational databases.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data extraction tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor operational performance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
