Job Description

 

  • Proficient in managing Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with system virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python for automation and task orchestration.
  • Familiar with system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Splunk) to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
  • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP networking and storage technologies.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and practices for protecting systems and data.
  • Ability to perform system audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools.
  • RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent certifications.
