Senior O&M Systems Infrastructure Engineer - Wireless
Job Description
Manage and deliver the installation and configuration of network security architectures. Provide remote and on-site support to our customers inside/outside Egypt. Manage and monitor large computer networks for problems from a central location through communicating with site technicians and tracking problems until resolution. Investigate and identify the root cause of the incidents through analyzing problems, performing troubleshooting and tracking incident response on the system. Track, document and record precisely all technical issues and resolutions for future references. Maintain LAN, WAN and architecture of the server as per the business policy. Resolve the existing security issues including hardware malfunctions and track vulnerable scripts to avert the potential threats. Generate and maintain the virtual private network, Firewall, web protocols Carry out investigations of security breach alert and report findings of security analysis. Monitor web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls and end point security. Manage communications with third party vendors, Customer contacts and other IT teams. Maintain routers and switches and generate status reports of hardware and software products as per the designated polici Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to the Networks team leader to clarify the current status and progress of assigned tas Escalates customer satisfaction problems and complex issued to Network Team Leader, Technical Project Services, if necessary. Drives the planning, design, implementation, organization, and operation of the company’s data communications network. Analyses the needs of departments and establishes priorities for network design and implementation to develop new and/or modify thecompany’s networks and security. Prepare, compile and review the projects’ technical documentation with the details of the installation work and submits to team leader. Anticipate future needs and develop a roadmap for modernization. Prioritize activities Monitor and respond promptly to incidents. Optimize Performance Track metrics. Fine-tuning Keep abreast of the latest technologies Understanding Level Designs Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation on solution configurations and operational procedures. Prepare reports on incidents, system performance, and solution effectiveness with a Root cause analysis.

Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model) and network infrastructure.
- Experience with network devices routers, switches, and network operating systems.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model) and network technologies (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, VPN).- Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and network operating systems.
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Knowledge of network security concepts and best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA)- Design, configure, and maintain wireless communication systems to ensure reliable and efficient connectivity
- Install, troubleshoot, and optimize microwave links for high-performance communication networks
- Deploy and manage optical fiber systems, including splicing, testing, and network integration.
- Conduct site surveys and analyze data to improve network performance and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of communication technologies.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in wireless, microwave, and optical fiber fields.
- Strong understanding of wireless communication protocols and standards.
- Hands-on experience with microwave link setup and maintenance.
- Proficiency in optical fiber installation and testing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
