JOB DESCRIPTIONVendor Start Up.
- Educate & Explain to vendor LS&Co WOW.
- Assign & place test order to new vendor
Vendors Strategy & Management.
- Execute the operational strategy at vendor level assigned by Manager
- Conduct weekly meeting with Vendors & business contacts
- Communicate & document meeting action points with vendors.
Development & Preseason activities
- Ensure effective and timely communication with vendor on the CS raw material & provide necessary update to involved parties.
- Follow up on CS Work in progress with the vendor to ensure CS exiting according to agreed timeline.
- Ensure costing is negotiated at PC-9 level and uploaded in costing global tool according to agreed timeline.
Planning activities
- Manage & collect the vendor lead time on PC-9 level based on company assigned target and ensure all submitted according to agreed timeline
- Responsible for managing all the BW activities with both planning & vendor.
- Ensure monthly planning cycle shared with vendor and submitted to planner via BW based on agreed timeline.
- Review & optimize the vendor OCP on monthly basis to hit the agreed target.
- Manage the planning activities i.e. Cancel, Defer, Improve, AGR demands.
- Manage the vendor liability post the monthly planning cycle and ensure portal and planner updated.
Production & Logistic activities
- Setup vendors OA on SAP on time and according to placed product.
- Manage OA activities i.e. ensure Price matching GCT price & agreed affiliate charges.
- Manage all the GPPTL activities with vendor and ensure GPPTL is updated on timely manger.
- Manage & agree with the vendors on time & action for the GPPTL activities.
- Update the Vendors with the seasonal GAPPG whenever necessary.
- Help & assist vendor with PLM access and/ or missing data.
- Responsible for conducting pre production meeting with vendors and LS&Co technical team to ensure all parties are clear on the requirement and no major risk expected.
- Manage both vendor Work in progress as well as the product testing requirement.
- Manage all the shipment plan and risk and ensure both management & planning aware of existing & expected risks.
- Interact with Quality & Finishing team at vendor/ Product level to ensure existing challenge sorted out.
- Manage PO planning & shipment tools i.e. SNC, CART.
- Review & Monitor vendor HOD performance to ensure the LS&Co assigned target is very well met.
- Settle VCOM within SSM responsibility.
- Follow up with vendors on GSAR (SECONDS) update
- Follow up with vendor to ensure successful and smooth direct shipment post the implementation.
Special Initiatives:
- Follow up with the vendors & ensure their clarity on the company special initiative that is led and implemented by the senior sourcing manager.
