Job Description
A well-known engineering consultancy is hiring a Senior Mechanical Site Engineer with over 10 years of experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervising the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Ensuring compliance with mechanical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure timely project completion.
- Conducting site inspections and quality checks on mechanical work.
- Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during construction.
- Preparing and reviewing mechanical drawings, plans, and reports.
- Reviewing and approving shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Managing material procurement and coordinating with suppliers.
- Monitoring and controlling project costs and schedules.
Job Requirements:
- BSc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office/AutoCAD.
- Strong experience in reviewing and approving shop drawings/As-built drawings.
- Flexibility with travelling inside Egypt.
