Senior DevOps Engineer

We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer who works closely with our engineering, operations, and product teams, and ensures our suite of servers and databases are operating smoothly.

He\She will also interact with our security team to act as focal point between Security team, and Engineering team, making sure that the software developed is complying with the Security policies in place.

Key responsibilities & duties:

• Establishes monitoring tools to increase service reliability.
• Controls deployment workflow
• Creates and develop tools/scripts to automate builds and backups.
• Conducts regular on-call duties and address issues pertaining to operations.
• Participates in the design and architecture of standards and methods for large, scalable distributed systems.
• Act as focal point between Security Team, and Engineering team, making sure that the Software developed in-house is complying to the security policies
• Participate in creating\maintaining the documentation for our Software infrastructure, and Processes.
• Engages in capacity planning and demand forecasting activities.

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of infrastructure administration or programming experience
• Extensive experience of any of the major cloud providers: GCP, AWS and Azure
• Working familiarity with docker and Kubernetes
• Solid Understanding of deployment systems
• Experience scaling APIs and websites
• Strong command of Git and Linux
• Experience scaling and deploying Elastic Search clusters.
• Experience with continuous integration systems
• Professional level spoken and written English.
• Preference for candidates who have worked with both Terraform and Chef IaC (Infrastructure as Code) technologies.
• Preference for candidates with experience working on both OVH and GCP.
