•Prepare and review mechanical Design & Shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.
•Conduct detailed MEP coordination with electrical and civil disciplines to resolve clashes.
•Analyze project specifications, design drawings, and tender documents to ensure accurate BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs.
•Prepare material submittals, technical queries (RFIs), and method statements for consultant/client approvals.
•Provide technical support to procurement and site execution teams by reviewing supplier submittals, selecting materials, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
•Develop and implement value engineering solutions to optimize design and reduce project costs without compromising quality or safety.
•Ensure that all mechanical designs comply with local codes, international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.), and green building requirements where applicable.
•Prepare detailed technical reports and designs aligned with project specifications and regulatory standards.
•Assess and provide feedback on reports and studies submitted by third-party consultants.
•Studying and analyzing the project contract, Specifications and Bill of Quantity.
•Preparing and review of preliminarily base design, detailed design and shop drawings.
•Attending FATs, issue manufacturing release and making the site survey.
•Attending meetings with other departments.
•Technical support at site.
•Preparing log file.
•Provide reports on monthly basis on the progress of his main activities.
·Years of experience:Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the MEP industry, with at least 4 years in a technical office role.
·Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s in mechanical Power Engineering.
·Language proficiency:Proficiency in English & Arabic (Written & Spoken) is required.
·Computer skills:AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Elite, Duct Sizer, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Water Pump Calculations
