Overview:

As Shift EV’s Senior Data Engineer, you’ll optimize and maintain our data infrastructure, enhancing analytics and ensuring scalability. You will lead the integration of data from diverse sources, including IoT devices and fleet vehicles, to support advanced business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust ETL processes and data pipelines, ensuring efficient data integration and availability.

  
  

• Develop and manage data flow from IoT devices and fleet vehicles, guaranteeing precise and effective data collection.

  
  

• Construct scalable data architectures for both real-time and batch data processing.

  
  

• Enhance and maintain data warehouse systems and infrastructure.

  
  

• Develop user interfaces using React to display data analytics, facilitating interaction for non-technical customers and internal stakeholders.

  
  

• Collaborate with aftersales, quality, and engineering teams to leverage IoT data analytics for enhanced performance and scalability.

  
  

YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  
  

• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, including expertise in SQL, data modeling, and query optimization.

  
  

• Proficient in Python, React, and other scripting languages.

  
  

• In-depth knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, Athena, Quicksight, and RDS, and familiarity with AWS cloud billing tools and Cost Explorer.

  
  

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud services, big data technologies, and data warehouse solutions.

  
  

• Capable of effectively presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
