Description
Develop compliance register with each department within the organization to document breaches and mitigate fines. Serve as a key liaison, effectively communicating compliance requirements and engaging stakeholders across all levels. Ensure timely filing of compliance reports. Research and investigate all of WADI Group’s non-compliance shortfalls. Perform legal research on legal laws and regulations. Review internal policies and its compliance with Egyptian law. Follow up with assigned individuals on the progress of non-compliance issues. Proactively mitigate sanctions risk by conducting rigorous screening of all transactions and onboarding processes to ensure strict adherence to local and international sanctions laws and regulations. Retroactively assess current customers and suppliers to identify and address potential violations of sanctions regulations and ensure the validity of all their supporting documentation. Implement a risk-based approach to categorize external parties and prioritize due diligence efforts based on assessed risk levels. Champion a culture of ethical conduct by ensuring strict adherence to all anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies and procedures. Proactively monitor and investigate potential violations, fostering open communication and collaboration with compliance teams to address concerns effectively. Conduct regular site visits to assess compliance with WADI Group policies and procedures across all operational areas. Prepare monthly, quarterly progress report to the Division Heads on the closure of the non-compliant issues. Prepare additional report or presentation that may be required as per the top managements’ request.
