NOK Human Capital is hiring " Senior Buyer" for a very well-known multinational company specialized in fertilizers.
Location: Plant - Ain Sokhna.
- Develops strategic purchasing relationships with foreign / Local suppliers and ensures compliance with company policy and procedure. In addition to developing and maintaining relationship with new vendors, He monitors any transport damage and return goods along with delivery related problems.
- Responsible to evaluate performance of all carriers, vendors and goods delivery and make recommendations to improve processes for international buying process.
- Negotiates price levels and other conditions to comply with companys rules and Egyptian authorities laws and regulations based on past similar orders and counter offers from competitors to realize a cost price reduction according to the companys policy.
- Receive all foreign purchase requests and prepare requests for quotation, determine potential suppliers, and collect offers accordingly.
- Running the purchasing process for international supplies to maintain effective system to monitor all product deliveries. Also evaluate all bids, contacts and vendor agreements and ensure accuracy and price. Also, He keeps an up-to-date administration of all purchasing involved data.
- Liaise with Customs for clearance of material and delivery to plant.
- Assist in developing, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain accurate contract records and oversee contract renewal processes to ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal guidelines, and industry regulations.
Job Requirements:
B.S. Degree in a Business-related discipline or Engineering
Proven experience as a foreign Contract Buyer or in a procurement role.
3-4 for junior and 6-7 years for senior role in foreign purchasing experience in a multinational process plant of heavy
industry or hydrocarbon processing industry.
Familiarity with procurement software and tools (MAXIMO system preferred)
Excel advanced User
Computer proficiency, writing and design reports.
English language proficiency in spoken and written
Very good communication & negotiation skills
