Senior BI Analyst
Position Summary: A flexible highly motivated member Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing business trends, developing insightful reports, and providing actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, APIs).
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Google Sheets, Excel, and SQL.
- Analyze data trends, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.
- Prepare and present data findings to stakeholders effectively, both written and verbally.
Business Understanding:
- Understand business processes and requirements to effectively translate them into data analysis needs.- Take initiatives and deliver good results through observations and technical skills
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and prioritize analysis projects.
- Proactively identify areas for data improvement and process optimization.
Data Quality & Management:
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the analysis process.
- Implement data quality checks and controls.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel (including pivot tables, macros, and data visualization tools).
- Database management understands the data flow and is able to manage the data using SQL as data language.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes.
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g.,Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI) or any other similar tools.- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data mining techniques.
