ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Senior after-sales Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing daily after-sales operations, ensuring the quality and efficiency of vehicle repairs, and maintaining high standards of discipline, cleanliness, and productivity. The role includes supervising technicians, coordinating maintenance tasks, and meeting performance targets while ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate vehicle servicing.
YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:
1. Conducting inspections and diagnostics: You will be responsible for conducting inspections and diagnostics on vehicles that have been electrofitted. This may include checking the battery system, charging system, and other electrical components to ensure they are functioning properly.
2. Providing technical support: You will be responsible for providing technical support to customers who have questions or concerns about their electrofitted vehicles. This may involve answering technical questions over the phone, via email, or in person.
3. Troubleshooting and repair: If a customer has an issue with their electrofitted vehicle, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing the problem. This may involve replacing faulty components, repairing wiring, or making other modifications to the vehicle's electrical system.
4. Conducting maintenance and servicing: You will also be responsible for conducting regular maintenance and servicing on electrofitted vehicles.
5. Providing training and education: You may also be responsible for providing training and education to customers on how to properly maintain and service their electrofitted vehicles. This may involve conducting workshops, seminars, or other training sessions.
6. Record-keeping and reporting: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all service and repair work performed on electrofitted vehicles. You may also be responsible for generating reports on the performance of the electrofitted components and identifying areas for improvement.
7. ManageAfter-Sales Inventory:Oversee the ordering and inventory management of parts and supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that parts are available when needed.
8. Stream Line After-sales process: Developing Technical Documentation for After-Sales Support
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor degree or more in Automotive engineering or electrical engineering.
3-5 years of experience in automotive aftersales service and support
Excellent time management and the ability to multitask and prioritise work.
Customer-centric attitude with robust problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Excellent verbal communication skills and good writing skills, with the ability to adapt to various situations and audiences
