How you will contribute
You will be responsible for developing, implementing and leading the strategic and tactical components of the operational security program in your assigned region and ensuring that security activities comply with company policies and legal and regulatory requirements. This role will include managing, planning, developing and implementing security plans, programs and processes on physical security, executive protection and security audits. You will be responsible for coordinating activities needed to hire and pay for security and legal services, including the preparation and control of security and legal purchase orders. In addition, you will report and monitor reports of theft and abuse of trust at the national level; supervise appointments and documents to control legal complaints; and analyze security risks and vulnerabilities in your area.

You will be responsible for providing security and investigative support to Mondelez Plants in TOR (Tenth of Ramadan), its supply chain and other linked operations beside providing security support to commercial business segment in Egypt. This role will include managing, planning, developing and implementing security & Food Defence plans and processes on physical security, and security audits in line with
Mondelez Global Security standards
. You will also be responsible for managing Special Situations, Crisis Preparedness, Risk Management, Travel Security and security awareness programs. The incumbent will report to Security Manager of MENAP BU and ensure compliance to Mondelez Security Policy across all plants and commercial business.
What you need to know about this position:
Plant Operations - Support the Plant management and Area Security Manager with access control and physical security programs, and in achieving compliance with Food Defence. Mitigate pilferage and robbery risks. Manage and/or support guard force programs. Risk Assessments and Preparedness – Conduct and document risk assessments for both Mondelez Plants, external and internal warehouses. Develop crisis management and business continuity plans. Preventive Intelligence and business continuity – The incumbent will develop a network of contacts within the business and government community to facilitate the analysis and mitigation of emerging threats. Investigations - Conduct investigations of all the incidents related to burglary, theft, workplace violence and other non-compliance issues in line with company policy and standards. Support Business Integrity function and update GS (Global Security) on all security related incidents/issues pertaining to violations of Code of Conduct. Global Security Projects & initiatives - Specifically support the Area Security Manager in advancing Global Security initiatives at Plant & other supply chain operations. These initiatives include Risk Management, digitization of security processes, travel security management, security awareness trainings, SSM training, and investigations. Support the FSCs (Facility Security coordinators) of all plants in implementation of Mondelez Global Security Standards / policies and keep close coordination/supervision in all other security related matters. Help the Plant Leads and other stakeholders in Food Defence programmes to achieve compliant standards. Work with & support Legal & Brand Protection teams in handling of anti-counterfeiting cases. Work closely with, and support local business in Brand Protection. Keep a close watch of the political and security environment in the country and advise / support commercial management (MD & LT team) for best security practices to ensure that sales force and other employees operate in a safe & secure manner. Ensure implementation of Mondelez Security standards in the business unit (Head office – Cairo) and train and guide the FSC (Facility security coordinator) for their implementation. Benchmarking & Best Practices – The incumbent will develop and maintain a network of professional security contacts throughout the country. Know the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of this position; lead ethically and model compliant behaviour; maintain an environment where employees can speak up without fear of retaliation; ensure employees in area of responsibility understand the compliance responsibilities of their jobs and actively participate in the compliance program.
