1. Work closely with other functional area architects and security specialists to ensure adequate security
solutions are in place throughout all systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet
business objectives and regulatory requirements.
2. Oversee the development and maintenance of the information security strategy.
3. Ensure maintaining the effective translation of the security architecture into secured solutions in alignment
with the approved security architectures and that they are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms.
4. Define the alignment of security governance with Architecture governance.
5. Research, design, and advocate new technologies, architectures, and security products.
6. Develop the business, information, and technical artifacts that constitute the enterprise information security
architecture and solutions.
7. Analyse business impact and exposure, based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
8. Communicate security risks and solutions to business and IT staff.
Day-to-day Operations
9. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the IT Architecture & Strategy department to ensure
continuity of work.
10. Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
