Scrum Master

WeCodeForYou is seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our growing team. 
The Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in enabling our agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our business objectives. The Scrum Master will facilitate the agile process, support the team in resolving obstacles, and ensure that the principles and practices of Scrum are followed. 
Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and guide the team in using Agile/Scrum practices and values to deliver high-quality solutions. 
• Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning. 
• Help the team maintain focus on tasks and goals, remove impediments, and guide the team to adapt the process to achieve the delivery goal. 
• Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is effectively maintained and sprint planning is executed efficiently. 
• Foster a collaborative, self-organizing and highly motivated team environment. 
• Track and report Scrum team metrics and progress to stakeholders. 
• Assist with internal and external communication, and improving transparency. 
• Act as a mediator, resolving conflicts and facilitating constructive discussions. 
• Continuously learn new tools and techniques and bring ideas to the team for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. 
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. 
• Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.) 
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills. 
• Experience working with distributed teams is a plus. 
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) preferred. 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related field preferred

Core working hours: 11:00am to 05:00pm 
Working Days: Sundays to Thursdays
