As a SAP Senior Vistex Consultant, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Vistex solutions, with a focus on driving pricing and rebate management strategies, as well as incentive management within the retail industry. You will work closely with business teams to ensure that SAP Vistex solutions support retail-specific requirements and are integrated with other business functions such as sales, supply chain, and finance.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Vistex solutions, specifically for pricing, rebates, and incentive management in the retail industry.
- Configure key Vistex functionalities, including Customer Pricing, Rebate Management, Sales Incentive Management, and Deal Management to align with retail business needs.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP Vistex with other SAP modules such as SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP FICO, and SAP CRM to optimize retail operations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP Vistex with third-party applications for supplier and customer management, ensuring smooth data flows and accurate transaction processing.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards in SAP Vistex to provide visibility into rebate processing, pricing strategies, and incentive performance.
- Provide actionable insights through analytics to guide retail pricing strategies, sales growth, and profitability improvements.
- Provide ongoing support for SAP Vistex solutions, troubleshooting issues related to pricing, rebates, and incentive calculations.
- Address user queries and resolve technical issues, ensuring system stability and seamless business operations.
- Conduct training sessions and develop documentation to ensure effective knowledge transfer to business users, empowering them to effectively use SAP Vistex solutions.
- Share best practices and provide expert guidance to junior consultants and business teams to enhance SAP Vistex adoption across the organization.
- Lead or participate in SAP Vistex implementation projects, ensuring the successful deployment of solutions within scope, budget, and timeline.
Knowledge , Skills , Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP Vistex consulting, with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations in a retail or consumer-facing industry.
- Proven experience in configuring and managing key Vistex functionalities such as pricing, rebate management, and sales incentives.
- Expertise in SAP Vistex configuration and integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, CRM).
- Knowledge of SAP Pricing, Rebate Management, Sales Incentive Management, and Deal Management modules.
- Strong experience with SAP BW or SAP Analytics Cloud for reporting and data analysis.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP Fiori is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: SAP Vistex certification is highly desirable.
- Retail Industry Experience: Familiarity with the retail-specific challenges and requirements related to pricing, rebates, and sales incentives.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and leading SAP implementation projects is a plus.
