As a SAP Senior HCM Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, optimizing, and providing ongoing support for SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, with a particular focus on streamlining HR processes in the retail industry. You will work closely with HR teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP HCM modules, including Personnel Management (PM), Organizational Management (OM), Payroll, Time Management, and Employee Self-Service (ESS).
- Lead and mentor junior consultants in the implementation and optimization of SAP HCM solutions.
- Work closely with HR business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP HCM solutions.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within SAP HCM to optimize HR processes, enhance data integrity, and improve efficiency.
- Implement SAP best practices for HR processes, aligning them with the unique needs of the retail industry.
- Integrate SAP HCM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP MM) and third-party systems, ensuring seamless flow of HR data across systems.
- Work on HR-related data integrations, including employee records, payroll, and attendance systems.
- Provide training to HR users and key stakeholders on SAP HCM functionalities.
- Offer ongoing support to HR teams, troubleshooting any issues related to SAP HCM and providing resolutions as needed.
- Develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements within the SAP HCM module to meet business requirements.
Knowledge , Skills , Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP HCM consulting, including at least 2 full lifecycle implementations in a retail or consumer-facing industry.
- Strong experience with key SAP HCM modules, such as Personnel Management (PM), Organizational Management (OM), Payroll, and Time Management.
- Expertise in SAP HCM configuration, including PA, OM, and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP MM).
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or other cloud-based HR solutions is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP HCM reporting tools, such as Ad-Hoc Queries or SAP Business Objects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: SAP HCM certification is a plus.
- Retail Industry Experience: Familiarity with retail-specific HR challenges (e.g., seasonal workforce, high turnover) and SAP solutions tailored to retail.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and leading HR technology projects is desirable.
