AS a SAP Project Manager will be responsible for managing SAP implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and technical teams to ensure that SAP solutions are successfully delivered and integrated, enabling business transformation.
key Accountabilities
- Manage end-to-end SAP project life cycle, from planning to execution and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business and IT teams.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Oversee the execution of SAP implementation and enhancement projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of SAP solutions within agreed scope and budget.
- Manage project risks, changes, and issues through proactive mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor SAP project teams, including consultants and developers.
- Foster collaboration and ensure team members understand project objectives and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and process improvements.
- Apply best practices and continuous improvement strategies in project delivery.
Knowledge , Skills , Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing SAP projects, with a focus on retail environments.
- Proven track record of managing complex SAP implementations across multiple SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP CRM, SAP FICO).
- Strong project management skills with expertise in methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in managing large, cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: SAP certifications in SD, CRM, or CAR are highly desirable.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud solutions is a plus.
- Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform or other cloud solutions for retail is an advantage.
