You help execute the revenue management workstream to help us optimize the return on investment on our trade spend activities.


How you will contribute


You will:


  • Work with customer teams to track progress towards revenue KPIs
  • Complete promotional post evaluations in partnership with Finance and Marketing
  • Support the Customer Planning Manager by providing regular reporting including volume tracking, trade spend, % promoted, seasonal in flight tracking
  • Monitor revenue realization of any cost price increases
  • Work with customer teams and Sales Finance to ensure all trade spend in the system is accruing correctly
  • Attend customer forecast surgeries to understand customer dynamics and identify opportunities and risks to the plan
  • Approve promotional activity in line with guidelines with regular reviews of promotional spend

The Category Revenue Planner and RGM Lead for the Biscuits category will be responsible for driving category growth, profitability, and strategic planning by optimizing pricing, promotions, and trade investments. This role focuses on enhancing the revenue performance of the biscuits portfolio while aligning with business objectives and customer expectations across all channels. The position combines strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and collaboration to develop effective revenue growth initiatives in this competitive and dynamic category.


What you need to know about this position:


  • Design and implement pricing strategies to ensure category profitability while addressing consumer affordability and competitor benchmarking.
  • Analyze price elasticity for different biscuit subcategories (e.g., premium, family, or health-focused biscuits).
  • Identify and recommend price adjustments to address market shifts and consumer behavior.
  • Evaluate promotional mechanics (price-offs, bundles) and design campaigns to drive Category Revenue Planning
  • Develop annual revenue and volume plans for the biscuits category, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Provide accurate monthly forecasts based on market trends, customer plans, and promotional activity.
  • Work closely with the supply chain to ensure availability of key SKUs during high-demand periods.
  • Monitor category performance metrics (e.g., revenue, margins, volume, market share) and provide actionable insights.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to adjust strategies in real-time.
  • Partner with sales teams to implement customer-specific strategies that maximize category and retailer growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.

Education / Certifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)


Job specific requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue growth management, trade marketing, category planning, or a similar role within the FMCG/CPG sector, preferably snacking category
  • Proven experience in pricing, promotional planning, and trade spend optimization
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Nielsen, IRI, or other market intelligence platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
