Job Description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive retail strategy to build a strong network of independent retail stores that carry and promote Sika products.
- Identify, approach, and onboard new retail partners to expand Sika's market presence.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with store owners, managers, and decision-makers.
- Set clear sales targets for retail stores and implement action plans to achieve them.
- Provide ongoing training and product knowledge to retail partners to ensure proper representation of Sika products.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess product placement, competitor activities, and store performance.
- Develop and track sales performance metrics for the retail network and report progress to senior management.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns tailored to retail stores.
- Ensure optimal product availability and proper merchandising at all retail outlets.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to adjust strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, technical) to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by retail partners promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all agreements and partnerships with retail stores comply with company policies and standards.
- Stay updated on construction chemicals market trends and identify opportunities for Sika to gain competitive advantage in the retail sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction materials, building products, or retail sector.
- Proven track record in developing retail channels and managing external retail partnerships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, think strategically, and drive results.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Egypt.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic.
