As a Sales Operations Team Lead, you will manage a team of sales operations professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of sales processes. You will oversee sales data analysis, CRM management, process improvements, and strategic support to the sales team. You will collaborate with sales leadership to drive initiatives that enhance productivity, streamline operations, and support overall sales goals.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales operations specialists;
- Set performance goals and monitor team performance to ensure targets are met;
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness;
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the sales team;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes and reduce friction points.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of CRM systems and sales databases;
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in sales reports and dashboards;
- Analyse sales metrics and performance data to provide actionable insights to sales leadership;
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Assist the sales team in achieving their targets by providing tools, resources, and operational support;
- Ensure the sales team has access to up-to-date information, materials, and training;
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and customer service teams to align sales operations with overall business strategies;
- Track sales funnels and operational business drivers to provide regular insights into the business.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives;
- Participate in sales forecasting, territory planning, and quota-setting processes;
- Monitor market trends and competitive activities to inform sales strategies.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and optimisation of sales tools and technologies;
- Ensure the sales team is effectively utilising CRM and other sales technologies;
- Train team members on the use of sales tools and ensure adoption across the team.
