Position Summary:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a pivotal role in driving the sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential leads. This individual acts as the first point of contact for prospective customers and works closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results-driven, and passionate about technology and customer engagement.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Research and identify potential clients through online research, social media, and other lead-generation tools.
  • Reach out to leads through cold calls, emails, and social selling techniques.
  • Build and maintain a database of qualified prospects.
Qualification:
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand the prospect's business needs and challenges.
  • Qualify leads based on their fit with the company's product or service using established criteria (e.g., BANT, CHAMP).
  • Set up meetings or product demos for Account Executives or senior sales representatives.
Pipeline Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead nurturing strategies.
Communication:
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's services and solutions.
  • Address initial objections and educate prospects on how the software can solve their challenges.
Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Provide regular reports on lead conversion rates, prospecting activities, and pipeline performance.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and share feedback for process improvement.
