Purpose of the position and Job Summary:
The S&OP Demand Planner plays a crucial role in aligning the sales, operations, and supply chain functions of a company to ensure that the organization can meet its sales goals while maintaining optimal inventory levels and operational efficiency, and responsible for developing, monitoring, and adjusting demand forecasts to ensure the efficient operation of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to create a consensus-based demand plan that supports the company’s strategic goals. The Demand Planner ensures that inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.

·Education:
vBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
·Experience:
v3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
vExperience with S&OP processes and tools.
vFamiliarity with ERP and advanced planning systems (Sales Force)
·Skills:
vStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
vProficiency in demand planning software and Excel; experience with statistical forecasting tools is highly desirable.
vExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
vStrong organizational and project management skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
vAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
