DEPARTMENT: NURSING
POSITION TITLE: FULL-TIME NURSING INSTRUCTOR, RN-BSN
SUPERVISOR: DIRECTOR, SCHOOL OF NURSING
PURPOSE: Full-time nursing instructor to assume responsibility, under the guidance of the Program Director of RN-BSN Program, for the delivery of 100% online instruction. This is a 12-month academic year position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Incorporate student learning teaching/learning strategies in the online setting. Evaluate student performance. Participate in School of Nursing Committees. Available to students as identified by University Policy. PS:231. Provide input toward curriculum development and alignment as identified by School of Nursing policies, University policies, Louisiana State Board of Nursing Regulations, and ACEN standards. Travel to LSUA campus on a quarterly basis for required curriculum development, accreditation compliance, face-to-face leadership collaboration Required to teach 15 workload hours per regular semester and 12 workload hours in the summer

• Master’s degree in Nursing, Doctorate Degree in Nursing preferred
• Active RN Compact license
• Two years clinical experience as registered nurse
