Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Manager to join our team in Novotel Cairo Airport, Egypt. As a key member of our commercial strategy team, you will be responsible for optimizing revenue streams, analyzing market trends, and implementing effective pricing strategies to maximize our organization's financial performance.
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory across all distribution channels
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and historical data to forecast demand and adjust pricing accordingly
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives
- Generate and maintain accurate revenue reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Manage rate parity across all channels and ensure compliance with pricing policies
- Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term projections
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
- Maintain and optimize the use of revenue management systems and tools
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in revenue management
- Participate in special projects aimed at uncovering new revenue opportunities and enhancing overall performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience in revenue management, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and revenue optimization techniques
- Experience with revenue management systems (e.g., Ideas RMS, Opera PMS/ORS, TARS)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of market trends, competitive pricing strategies, and distribution channels
- Familiarity with online travel agencies (OTAs) and other digital distribution platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Adaptability to new technologies and industry changes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
