Regional Research & Development Director

Top Multinational company in Food & Beverages & Nutrition Industry is looking to hire a R&D Regional Director, to look after the products development & application across MENA!

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and developing a qualified and motivated team in the area of responsibility "Reasearch & Development" & ensuring the best possible personnel management of employees.
• Define, implement and ensure optimal information exchange.
• Continuously standardizing, optimizing processes and ensuring continuous improvement in the entire area of responsibility.
• Driving forward the digital transformation in the research & development domain.

• Ensure optimization and mapping of new and existing business processes in the digital databases and systems.
• Planning of human, material and financial resources within the area of responsibility. 
• Define internal regulations, verify compliance with all applicable standards and initiate countermeasures in the event of deviation.
• Managing and developing regional Application within the company and ensuring optimum and satisfactory customer support.

• Exchange with Head of Sales regarding DO`s | Customers | Claims | Market | Business relevant Topics. 

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food science, Biotechnology or any relevant discipline.
• 10 to 15 years of total experience in the reasearch & development domain.
• Minimum of 5 years in managerial and regional role preferably Food & Beverage background.
• Current or previous experience in multinational F&B company is a MUST.
• Experience in product development (Food, Beverage, Flavors, etc..) Preferably B2B.
• Fluent English, French is a huge plus.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Exceptional leadership competency.
• Strong communication skills.
• Up-to-date, innovative mindset & initiator.
