How you’ll help us make health happen:
Based in Cairo, you will manage circa 600 people with responsibility for Customer Service, Claims, Healthcare Management and General Affairs (e.g. IT, Admin). The role reports to both the Global Director of Healthcare Management and the Bupa Egypt General Manager. Key to success will be the implementation of operating strategy.
Key duties:
Leadership, management and vision to ensure operating efficiency and financial strength of the business
Delivery of “shared services” within the Egypt office (e.g. IT, Admin)
Responsible for delivering on OPEX goals, Net Promoter scores and CX improvements
Model the culture and take responsibility for the maintenance and development of reputation and relationships with key stakeholders such as regulators
Develop the annual operating principles and plans for review and approval
Team performance reviews and talent management
Set governance for protecting Bupa, our people & customers
Drive innovation and change – embrace new channels and ways of working
Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role:
Demonstrable track record of success of leading large operational teams, covering customer service experience strategy & enhancements, Claims and Health Care Management
Experience of leading and working successfully in a large complex, matrix organisation
Ability to construct and track spend/ROI across multi-million pound budgets
Strong writing and editorial skills combined with a strong commercial acumen.
Effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders
Resilience and confidence in own and Bupa’s ability to succeed
