We have an opportunity for a Sr. Sales Operations Specialist to join us at Honeywell in CAIRO, EGY. To be successful in this role, you need to have +10 years of experience in Engineering and Project management.

The purpose of this role is to lead the engineering function in the region, to ensure HBS delivers best in class solutions to meet customer expectations whilst achieving safety, quality, schedule and financial goals. Lead the technical execution, functional and engineering management disciplines necessary to enhance the competitive position of HBS to meet growth objectives. Manage the engineering workforce within the assigned geography for optimum execution examples being increase of GES to grant proper location/skill set of resources.  Manage to key targeted metrics e.g. over/under utilization, average engineering cost. Ensure delivery excellence through standardizing on best practice.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsibility for the Engineering and Workforce planning within the assigned geography.
  • Support staffing of engineering workforce utilized by Project Management.
  • Assembling high performance teams and driving ongoing improvement in Skills & Effectiveness
  • Ensuring effective performance management processes, development of future management/engineering capabilities with attractive career plans
  • Drive planning, coordination and execution of the Projects Engineering within the local organizations.
  • Ensures the availability of tools, equipment and materials required to drive productivity in engineering
  • Responsible for functional management of local engineering teams to ensure business goals and objectives are met and key operations strategies are implemented
  • Plan, develop and support staffing of key personnel for the engineering organizations through a robust and effective SIOP process
  • Participate in AOP processes and provide leadership to execute on agreed plans
  • Be a change agent - influence, consult, and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing of best practices and processes
  • Optimizing delivery of projects and engineering to achieve continuous improvement and attain productivity targets.
  • Responsible for maximizing GES utilization and providing support to drive efficiency and optimization of GES resources
  • Support Development of new engineering skills identified in STRAP or vertical market initiatives
  • Leveraging the Honeywell technologies and emphasizing the “key technological differentiator”
  • Monitor project progress, identify technical risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices in engineering management
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Providing training and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in security systems.

Key Skills and Qualifications:


  • Degree in an Engineering discipline; Electrical, Electronics or Communications.
  • PMP certified or MBA holder is preferred.
  • +10 years of experience in Engineering and Project management
  • Extensive experience in the Building Automation and Technologies Industries.
  • Strong background of ELV systems, BMS, Security, Energy, safe & smart cities project delivery.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing projects in META Region.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in coordinating, overseeing, and developing entry-to-senior-level professionals.
  • Remarkable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience and understanding of Honeywell products and software is a plus.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the META region.
