Quality Control Team Leader

An export and trading company is currently seeking a Quality Control Team Leader to oversee and manage the quality control processes for fruits and vegetables. This role ensures that all products meet the required quality standards from farm to shelf, maintaining compliance with national and international regulations.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to; 

• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the consistent quality of fruits and vegetables.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee the inspection of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products to verify quality standards.
• Implement and monitor quality control tests, including sensory evaluations, weight checks, and visual inspections.
• Identify and address any quality issues promptly, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor the post-harvest handling of fruits and vegetables to minimize spoilage and maintain freshness.
• Supervise the sorting, grading, and packaging processes to ensure that only products meeting quality standards are processed.
• Implement best practices for temperature and humidity control during storage and transportation.

Job Requirements: 

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control and quality assurance, specifically in the fruits and vegetables industry.
• Thorough knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Global Gap is a plus.
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
• Fluent written and oral command in English and Arabic
  

Working Conditions: 

• Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Fridays & Saturdays are off
• Work Location: New Cairo.
