Job Summary:SteelCon is looking for a detail-oriented
Steel QC Engineer to join our team in
Sheikh Zayed. This is a
full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to high-quality steel construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control procedures and protocols
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished steel product
- Perform metallurgical testing and analysis using advanced testing equipment
- Verify product specifications and dimensional accuracy
- Investigate and document quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain detailed quality control records and generate comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant quality management standards
- Conduct regular audits of quality control systems
- Train and guide junior quality control staff if necessary
Qualifications:- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in steel manufacturing quality control
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Understanding of various steel grades and specifications
- Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and prevention techniques
- Familiarity with mechanical and chemical testing procedures
- Proficiency in quality management software and documentation systems
- Advanced knowledge of metallurgical testing methods
- Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques
- Familiarity with spectroscopy, microscopy, and metallographic analysis
- Knowledge of international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, etc.)
Work Conditions:Working Hours: 09:00 AM-05:00 PM
Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
Days Off: Friday and Saturday
Work Location: The Courtyard Zayed, Al Sheikh Zayed, Giza
