We’re looking for QHSE Specialist in Egypt and the main job function to ensure that the Aggreko North and East Africa area is compliant to company and local legislation in terms of QHSE and provide Senior Management with a platform to manage QHSE effectively.

What you’ll do:


  • Conduct QHSE audits at locations and ensure actions from QHSE audits are closed in a timely and effective manner;


  • Liaise with certification body for external audits and ensure the findings of external audits are closed in a timely and effective manner


  • Collate HSE statistics for monthly reporting


  • Maintains all QHSE documentation e.g. QMS procedures, service manual, HSE Standards, calibration records


  • Ensure adherence to Aggreko’s HSE Standards in sites and depots.


  • Assist and delivers QHSE training to staff.


  • Ensure compliance to local legislative requirements


  • Provide QHSE induction to new starters and existing employees


  • Conduct Risk assessments and accident/incident investigations


  • Liaise with project sites and depots for QHSE issues


  • Any other duties considered essential for the effective running of operational and QHSE services


  • Identifying and implementing improvements on an ongoing basis in conjunction with Group HSE


  • Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments.


  • Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.


  • Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organisation and government standards related to environmental heath and safety.


  • Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organisation.


  • Manage and maintain energy management data.


You’ll have the following skills and experience:


  • Degree in Technical field or Management.


  • Minimum 10 years hands on experience in a QHSE role with an international organization.


  • NEBOSH International General Certificate or other equivalent Internationally accredited HSE course.


  • Willing to travel extensively.
