Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced
QA Automation Engineer who will take ownership of our
end-to-end (E2E) testing strategy. You will be responsible for:
- Building a scalable automation framework using Playwright (or similar tool) for our web and mobile applications.
- Leading and mentoring our QA team to transition from manual to automated testing.
- Defining and implementing test plans for mission-critical financial workflows.
- Integrating automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline.
- Improving test coverage while maintaining a balance between manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement an E2E test automation framework using Playwright (or similar tool).
- Lead the automation strategy for both our web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to identify test scenarios and ensure high test coverage.
- Maintain and optimize the test suite to run efficiently in CI/CD.
- Establish best practices and coach the QA team on test automation.
- Monitor test results, debug failures, and continuously improve test reliability.
- Ensure compliance with fintech security and regulatory standards.
Requirements- 5+ years of experience in QA automation with at least 2 years leading test automation initiatives.
- Strong experience with Playwright (or similar tools like Cypress, Selenium).
- Experience testing both web and mobile applications (React & React Native preferred).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Strong scripting skills (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with Detox or Appium for React Native mobile testing. PLUS
- Familiarity with fintech regulations and security testing. PLUS
- Experience setting up test reporting and monitoring tools. PLUS
