Responsibilities:
- Source new suppliers and ensure that purchased products and materials meet technical specifications.
- Negotiate favorable payment terms and contract conditions, maintaining a high level of integrity.
- Prepare procurement logs and acquire samples from suppliers as needed.
- Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
- Follow up with suppliers from negotiation to successful delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and maintain a supplier and price list.
- Maintain the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with updates from suppliers.
- Stay updated with market developments and assist in vendor development.
- Assist the tendering department as required.
- Ensure contract terms and conditions align with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage stock and implement targets, consolidating data for monthly reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
● Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred.
● 2-3 years' experience as a purchasing manager or agent.
● Experience using procurement software and databases.
