Description
1- Department Leadership and Strategy
· Lead the entire purchasing department, overseeing all purchasing operations and activities.
· Develop and implement long-term purchasing strategies aligned with business goals.
2- Budget and Cost Control
· Manage the department’s budget and ensure that procurement activities are cost-effective and within budget.
· Oversee cost-reduction initiatives and ensure purchasing decisions contribute to the company's bottom line.
3- Supplier Management and Contract Negotiation
· Manage key supplier relationships and ensure the company receives favorable contract terms.
· Negotiate large-scale or strategic contracts, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
4- Risk and Compliance Management
· Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal purchasing policies and procedures.
· Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation plans.
5- Reporting and Senior Management Interaction
· Report to senior management on procurement performance, financial savings, supplier performance, and strategic initiatives.
· Present key purchasing reports to top management, providing insights into procurement activities and improvements.
6- Internal Collaboration
· Collaborate with other department heads (finance, operations, logistics) to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with broader company strategies.
· Participate in executive decision-making related to purchasing strategies and key supplier contracts.
7- Team Management and Development
· Supervise the Purchasing Team Leader and ensure alignment with departmental goals.
Foster the professional growth and development of the purchasing team through training, performance feedback, and coaching.
Qualifications
Minimum - Years of experience:
8-10

Bachelor’s degree

Fluent at English
