SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Responsibilities:
Place and expedite purchase orders for designated raw materials, purchase finished goods & packaging materials, based on agreements made by category managers following group guidelines and procedures.
Evaluate suppliers on a weekly/monthly basis ( supplier performance, shortages, and non-conformances).
Assist the Purchasing manager in evaluating optimal logistics solutions, considering packaging type and size, lot size, use of distributors, transport, local customs regulations, and local laws for all raw materials, and communicate the findings to relevant Category Managers.
Implement and follow up on global and regional agreements as relevant for the company.
Place and follow up orders in ERP system based on agreements/contracts when relevant.
Execute invoice control according to company guidelines.
Report on agreed-upon Key performance indicators to the Purchasing Manager.
Communicate with the category managers on forecasts on a monthly/quarterly basis.

Qualifications We Look For:
Arabic & English speakers are a must.
Bachelors Degree.
4+ years experience in supply chain and purchasing.
