Responsibilities
The Programme Manager (PrgL) is responsible for the coordinated management of a portfolio of related calls (programme) to achieve benefits and control not possible when managing individual projects.
Influencing the strategy and shaping the programme approach for all projects and component activities to gain stakeholder buy-in to plans, commitments and changes.
Responsible for supporting the client and business stakeholders in decomposing complex business requirements and activities into actionable plans.
Responsible for implementation, governance and reporting to the client and stakeholders
Drives the application of agile methodologies within the technology teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean) in line with the relevant transformation frameworks at Porsche.
Ensure that all best practices and associated tools are adopted and adhered to within the programme.
Responsible for all elements of financial management of the programme, including headcount and capitalisation of software delivery.
Works across business and technology to establish effective controls, procedures and quality assurance processes.
Skills
Must have
4+ years of previous experience as a Project/Program Manager in Automotive.
Able to build and develop a strong partnership with our clients.
Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools.
Excellent organisational and analytical skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills to interact with project teams, steering team and leadership.
Problem-solving skills to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Detail-orientated thinking to ensure accuracy and completeness of project documentation.
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project dynamics.
Experience working with automotive OEMs.
Expertise in change management at an organisational level.
Leadership skills in people management (hiring, appraisal, promotion, motivation, development).
Nice to have
SAFe Certification
Understanding of ADAS and automated driving technologies, including their development, integration, and validation processes.
Familiarity with automotive standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, SAE levels of automation).
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
