Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project cost accountants, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Project Budget Management: Oversee the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Cost Control and Monitoring: Implement stringent cost control measures, analyze costs against budgets and identify discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including forecasts, variance analysis, and budgetary recommendations to stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks associated with projects and implement mitigation strategies accordingly.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other teams to ensure financial processes support project goals and timelines.
- Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and provide support during internal and external audits.
