Project & Development Services - MENA
JLL Project & Development Services (P&DS) MENA provides consulting, design, management and build services to tenant and owners, leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery.
We bring a life-cycle perspective to our clients, from development solutions to our core services in programme, project and cost management and consulting in digital solutions, tenancy management, sustainability, leisure & entertainment, and workplace & design.

Role:
The Project Controls Manager will lead and oversee project controls functions for PDS projects in Egypt. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of project performance metrics. The manager will collaborate closely with project teams to effectively manage risks and optimize project outcomes. Additionally, they will be tasked with implementing and maintaining robust project control systems and processes to support successful project delivery.
What this job involves:
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets.
• Monitoring project progress and performance against established baselines.
• Analyzing project data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Managing change control processes and evaluating the impact of changes.
• Coordinating with various departments to ensure effective project execution.
• Implementing earned value management techniques.
• Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
• Supporting the project close-out process and lessons learned documentation.
Desired skills and experience for this:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project controls within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong knowledge of earned value management principles.
• Experience with cost estimating and budgeting in construction projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and practices in Egypt.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in managing large-scale, complex projects is a plus.
