Lead Engineer - PIMS Engineers are responsible for bringing in the right technology with streamlined process for managing the deliverables of an organization. They must analyse complex business problems and assess how automated systems can be implemented to solve those problems.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain MIS systems.
  • Analyse the business requirements of our clients and determine their technology needs.
  • Implement new systems and provide better efficiency.
  • Can generate reports using latest automated technologies.
  • Bring in the Standardisation and Automation processes.
  • We would also prefer to have the below mentioned expertise.

Automation Expertise:


  • Collaborate with Project Management team to Proactively engage regularly with project stakeholders to gather their inputs and get agreement. Demonstrate continuous improvement, automation, lean techniques to bring consistency and efficiencies across projects, programmes and portfolios in project controls, cost and schedule management.
  • Experienced candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Power tools (Power Apps, Power BI, 9Power Automate), SQL , Azure Services, Python, Excel Advanced (VBA Skills).
  • Project Management Skills is must to produce Cost Breakdown Structure based on project Work Breakdown Structure to setup governance requirements in discussion with the Project Manager/s.

Expertise in Power BI/Data Analytics:


  • Ability to analyze and understand large sets of data (turn this analysis into Actionable steps) and develop customized ad hoc reports. Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI. 
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those. Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models. Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
  • Analyze current ETL process, define and design new systems. Data warehouse development and work with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS. Redefine and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems. Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions as per needs. SQL querying for best results, use of filters and graphs for better understanding of data.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience on global UK, Middle East or US projects. Preferable experience in consultant roles.
  • 7+ Years Relevant experience in one of the Power tool/Automation.  
  • Excellent language, report writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of earned value concepts and calculations.
  • Excellent Report Preparation skills with good knowledge in multiple technologies commonly used in the Project Management industry.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and requirements.

Preferred Skills:


  • Certified Estimating Professional, Certified Cost Professional, Certified Schedule Professional, Project Management Professional or equivalent credential(s).
  • Expert in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Leadership Skills.
  • Expertise in O365 Apps.
  • Have automation skills using Visual Basic or any other s/w.
