Program OfficerGiza Systems Education Foundation Cairo, Egypt Expires in 2 months Ref: JB5224994 Job DescriptionThe Program Officer is responsible for the strategy, planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the iMentor program, ensuring effective mentorship and supporting both mentors and startups in achieving their goals. The role involves designing the program framework, overseeing implementation, and advocating for the program to stakeholders. The Program Officer will lead community engagement, manage mentor-startup relationships, and ensure that the program's impact aligns with organizational goals.· Design the program structure and develop the needs assessment, rubric, selection criteria, capacity-building program, and community engagement strategy.· Design the matchmaking strategy to pair startups with appropriate mentors based on needs and readiness.· Define measurable milestones that align with the organization’s strategic objectives.· Act as the advocate for the iMentor program, building relationships with potential stakeholders, including investors, sponsors, and partners.· Communicate program goals and progress to internal and external audiences.· Plan for growth, increasing mentor and startup participation, and expanding the program's reach.· Identify and onboard mentors with industry, functional, or startup experience.· Manage the startup application process and ensure participants meet selection criteria.· Lead and execute the process of pairing mentors and startups, ensuring strong alignment.· Continuously refine the matchmaking process to improve compatibility and success rates.· Provide clear guidelines and expectations to both mentors and startups.· Coordinate and oversee mentorship sessions, ensuring that clear objectives are set and met.· Implement the designed capacity-building programs for startups and mentors to enhance skills and readiness.· Monitor the progress of mentorships, ensuring startups are achieving goals.· Keep detailed records of mentorship sessions and report regularly on program outcomes.· Gather feedback from both mentors and startups to assess satisfaction and progress.· Manage the feedback loop to continually adjust strategies and improve the program.· Act as the mediator to resolve any challenges or conflicts between mentors and startups.· Implement new initiatives to improve the mentorship process, such as refining matchmaking or expanding mentor engagement.· Utilize feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to drive program improvements.· Introduce new methods for engagement, such as speed mentoring or specialized training for both mentors and startups.· Provide regular updates to the Executive Director, summarizing program milestones, feedback, and key achievements. Personal Skills Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to oversee complex programs. Proven ability to design, implement, and manage mentorship or similar capacity-building programs. Expertise in mentor-startup matchmaking processes and community building. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to act as a program advocate. Experience in conflict resolution and mentorship session facilitation. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt the program to the evolving needs of startups and mentors.
